Hi, I’m Tarah, the hostess with the mostess.
With 20 years in the design profession as an influential leader at companies like lululemon, Amazon, Nordstrom, and Microsoft, my career has been centered on creating exceptional user experiences. I’ve now taken that expertise into the field of hosting!
The Columbia River Gorge holds a special place in my heart. My family has spent a lot of time in this area camping, boating, wine tasting, and going to concerts at the Gorge. I met my husband there at a Dave Matthews Band show back in 2006, and in 2023, we bought our Vantage Bay home to enjoy and share this incredible area with others. What started as an experiment quickly proved successful—our rental’s first year covered our mortgage, and I found a passion for hosting.
Since then, I’ve deepened my expertise through classes, bootcamps, and research, applying strategies that have increased my own rental’s revenue. Now, I want to help others do the same.
As Vantage Bay’s HOA secretary, I’m committed to enhancing our community and fostering connections. This isn’t just a business for me—I’m invested in making Vantage Bay and the surrounding area a premier destination!

I believe in quality over quantity. Rather than managing as many homes as possible, I’m curating a select group of properties owned by people who share this vision—homes that attract discerning guests willing to pay more for an elevated experience.
With my full-service co-hosting, I treat every home as if it were my own. Because I only make money when you do, I’m fully invested in maximizing your revenue through high occupancy and premium nightly rates.
